IFOM-inSTEM Joint Research Lab

India represents one of the most promising incubators of scientific and technological development in the world. Starting from 2012 IFOM has established agreements of collaboration with the most innovative Indian research institutes – as for example NCBS (National Centre for Biological Sciences) e inSTEM (Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine) - and integrate the partners' skills in the cutting-edge science area of regenerative medicine.

The IFOM Joint Research Lab in Bangalore (India) studies the molecular processes of tissue regeneration from adult stem cells and the application of this knowledge in cancer research, diabetes and atopic dermatitis, as well as the repair of damaged organs that have limited regenerative abilities, such as the heart and brain.
