University of Camerino, training course on promotion of research
A two-day training course at the University of Camerino to talk about promotion of research, technology transfer, innovation, patents and intellectual property. Organized by NetVal, the association of the Italian universities involved in the promotion of the results of public research, the meeting will be attended by teachers, researchers and administrative staff from all Italian universities.
“The University of Camerino, said Unicam Rector Professor Claudio Pettinari, intends to strengthen its role of driver of local development and this is why technology transfer activities are increasingly intense, also thanks to the excellent and efficient work of Unicam International & Industrial Liaison Office. This is one of the reasons that led Unicam to support the NetVal association since its setting up, being convinced that it is necessary to promote Italy’s excellent public research results to the economic and entrepreneurial system”.
“Unicam technological and scientific vocation, continued Rector Pettinari, not only can and must be able to play a crucial role in the smart specialization strategy of our region, it can and must also be the main actor in the application of the National Plan for Industry 4.0. This is why it is necessary that all our researchers are supported in the activities related to the promotion of their research activities.”
The annual training seminar promoted by Netval, with University of Camerino being one of the founders, is open to all members and will be held on 16 and 17 May 2018.
