Italy-Sweden Cooperation: call for proposals for joint research projects launched
The MAECI-Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International cooperation, in collaboration with MIUR-Ministry of Education, University and Research, has recently published a call for joint research projects between Italy and The Kingdom of Sweden.
The call, with deadline on 20 July 2017, is promoted by the two countries as part of the science and technology cooperation agreement for the years 2018-2020. The MIUR and the Swedish Research Council will co-fund the Italian and Swedish institutions selected, respectively, for three-year projects.
Project proposals must be submitted in the following priority research areas:
- Technology and Research applied to Cultural Heritage
- New Technologies for Scientific Instruments
- Clean Energy, Intelligent Factory, Cyber Security
- Natural Hazards
- Technology and Research applied to Nanoscience
- Technology and Research applied to Neuroscience
- Technology and Research applied to Oncology
Projects will be initially evaluated at the national level in both Countries. Subsequently, the assessment will be carried out by the Joint Commission in order to select the projects that will benefit from the funding. Projects will be assessed according to the criteria specified in the call.
