Italy-India: a call for joint scientific and technological research projects now online
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has published the call for the submission of joint scientific and technological research projects by researchers from Italy and India for the period 2017-2019. The selected projects will be included in the respective Executive Programmes, currently being renewed, and will have access to the annual co-funding.
It is possible to participate in the call with projects in the exchange of researchers category or in the significant bilateral projects category. In the first case, proposals must be submitted in the following areas: information and communication technology; energy, environment and sustainable agriculture; health, biotechnology and medicine; physical and chemical sciences; technologies applied to cultural and natural heritage. Significant bilateral projects must be in the following areas: energy and environment, resource efficiency and soil recovery, health, physical and chemical sciences.
For the Italian party, the last category of projects will be co-funded by MAECI and by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Health. Proposals must be submitted by 7 December 2016.
