Italy-China Science and Technology: first newsletter to science attaché now published
The network of Italian science attachés in China – including Plinio Innocenzi, Roberto Gonzo, Roberto Pagani – has published the first issue of a Newsletter, which aims at proving information about the activities carried out by the Italian research system in China as well as new opportunities for universities and research centres in Italy.
The network of science attaché in China, coordinated by Ambassador Ettore Sequi, is the first point of contact for people who intend to open a collaboration with this new scientific superpower. The newly set up network includes the offices for science, technology and innovation in Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing and operates in close connection with the equivalent offices of the European delegation and the EU Member States, with the Directorate-General for innovation and Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
The newsletter will be issued every four months and aims at becoming a window on the science and innovation world in China, with the purpose of making the access of Italian researchers and innovators in this big country much easier.
