Industry 4.0: reflections and insights on the IV industrial revolution now published online
The characteristics and perspectives of Industry 4.0 – a model of industrial production based on digital technology – are at the heart of the book “Industria 4.0 – Riflessioni e approfondimenti sulla IV rivoluzione industriale”, edited by Energia Media and now available online.
The book contains contributions by some of the major experts in this field who attended the conference “Industria 4.0 – La fabbrica del futuro è già qui”, held in Modena in 2016.
In particular, the book reports presentations by Raffaele Tiscar, former Deputy Secretary General of the Presidency of Council of Ministers and currently Head of Cabinet to the Minister of the Environment; Andrea Bianchi, Director for Industrial Policies of Confindustria; Mario Cantamessa, Polytechnics of Turin; Cesare Fantuzzi, University of Modena-Reggio Emilia; Marco Vecchio, Secretary of ANIE Automazione.
Marco Casagni, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) also contributed to the book.
It is with the purpose of bringing together demand for innovation by companies and supply of technology supported by activities of technological transfer, underlying industry 4.0, that ENEA has developed the Atlante dell’Innovazione: an online database with over 500 innovative technologies, products and services developed for companies and associations, in view of a greater integration between research and business.
