Greenhouse, the application deadline is 28 May
There is time until 28 May 2018 to apply for GreenHouse, the Climate-KIC pre-incubation programme for students and workers who have an innovative idea to tackle the effects of climate change and want to become entrepreneurs.
Climate-KIC, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a European Union body, is the largest public-private innovation partnership created to tackle climate change through innovation, with the aim to achieve ‘zero carbon’ economy, and implements its programmes through a public-private network of companies, universities and research institutions, NGOs and public institutions.
The GreenHouse programme supports the creation of “climate friendly” startups, from the idea to its incubation, from the identification of the innovation potential of an idea to the evaluation of its launching on the market.
In Italy, the partners of the GreenHouse programme are Aster, Trentino Sviluppo and Hub Innovazione Trentino, which will support the first steps of startups by providing consulting services, a €2,500 grant, an equipped workspace, the opportunity to access the most important international community on climate change.
The pre-incubation programme lasts 6 months, with only 10 teams of aspiring startuppers involved. The initiative is open to students, researchers and professionals from Italy and other EU countries, organized into teams of two or more members.
