EUCYS 2018 final ended
Six Italian finalists took part in EUCYS 2018 in Dublin, the 30th edition of the EU Contest for Young Scientists held in Ireland in September.
Following the national selection phases held in the various countries involved, 136 young scientists aged 15 to 20 from 38 countries competed in the final with a total of 88 projects, the high quality of which was highlighted by Tony Fagan from University College Dublin, who chaired the jury.
The main prizes were won by finalists from non-EU countries.
The next cut-off date for the Italian edition of the European Union Contest for Young Scientists, “I giovani e le scienze”, is 1 February 2019. The competition is open to participants aged 14 to 20 years.
