DIATOMIC: open call in the areas of microelectronics and integrated systems for Health, Agrifood and Industry 4.0

There is time until 31 January 2019 to apply for the DIATOMIC Open Call having a total budget of 1.6 million euro.

The call ‒ promoted by the network of digital innovation hubs DIATOMIC ‒ is part of the Smart Anything Everywhere initiative for projects in the areas of microelectronics and smart systems integration .

The objective is to accelerate solutions for the application of electronic components, sensors, smart objects and systems in the health, agrifood and advanced manufacturing (Industry 4.0) sectors.

The call is open to small consortia of 2 to 3 partners, including startups, small and medium-sized enterprises and non-industry legal entities that bring together technology providers and adopters/users in the fields of advanced microelectronics and smart systems integration.

Each project can receive up to 200,000 euro equity-free funding and strong technological support ‒ services for the experimentation, prototyping and implementation of electronic components and systems ‒ together with personalized business acceleration support.

The DIATOMIC project is funded by the Horizon 2020 programme with the aim of creating a sustainable ecosystem which facilitates innovation in the field of advanced microelectronics components and promotes smart systems integration in health, agrifood and manufacturing at European level.
