CNR President awarded Lubec 2016 prize
On 14 October, President of the National Research Council - CNR Massimo Inguscio has received the Lubec 2016 award during 'Lucca Beni Culturali', the international meeting on the development and knowledge of ‘cultural heritage – technologies – tourism’ production chain which is held in the Lucca, Tuscany, every year.
The recognition, addressed to outstanding institutions in the field of cultural heritage, was awarded to CNR for the digitalization of the historical heritage carried out by Ibam within the 'Science and Technology Digital Library' project coordinated by Director of the CNR Office for Networks and Information Systems, Maurizio Lancia.
President Massimo Inguscio was awarded the prize during the '#Technolab workshop. Le nuove frontiere della valorizzazione dei beni culturali, tra interpretazione, comprensione e comunicazione' organized by the Institute for Archaeological and Monumental Heritage (Ibam).
Once again, 'Lucca Beni Culturali' has offered the opportunity for dialogue and debate among the main private and public bodies engaged in the valorisation and use of cultural heritage.
