Best Program, the winners return from the Silicon Valley
On 24 June, Invitalia will host the event “Best, Return to Italy” at its headquarters in Rome. The protagonists of the event will be the 12 winners of the Best Program (Business Exchange and Student Training) grants who are back to Italy after spending six months in the Silicon Valley engaged in internships and studies.
During the meeting, these young Italian university graduates and researchers, who had an innovative business idea, will have the opportunity to meet potential funders and begin the tutoring programme aimed at developing their business ideas.
After the experience in the USA, the June meeting will feature a "Pitch presentation" session during which the winners will present their business ideas in maximum three minutes before meeting experts in business finance, incubators, innovation and media that will provide help in developing their own business and deal with the inevitable difficulties associated with it.
The event is promoted by Invitalia, implementing partner of the Best Program, with the patronage of the Fulbright Commission and the US Embassy in Italy.
Domenico Arcuri, CEO of Invitalia, Francesco Venturini, Managing Director and General Manager of Enel Green Power, Paola Sartorio, Executive Director U.S.-Italy Fulbright Commission, and Fernando Napolitano, Chairman Steering Committee President & CEO, New York Italian Business & Investment Initiative, will be present at the event.
