Advanced Electronics: the DIATOMIC call for health, agrifood and manufacturing is now open
There is time until 15 June 2018 to apply for the Advanced micro-electronics components and Smart System Integration call, promoted by the EU DIATOMIC project, funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
The call aims to fund and accelerate solutions that apply electronic components, sensors, “smart” objects and systems to the health, agrifood and manufacturing sectors.
The DIATOMIC project aims, in particular, to establish a sustainable ecosystem that facilitates innovation based on advanced micro-electronics components and promotes smart system integration in three sectors of key importance for the European society and the economy, but which are still under-digitized.
Specifically, the call offers the opportunity to obtain up to 200,000 euro in equity-free funding per application experiment, technical and business support.
In particular, through its network of hubs, DIATOMIC will offer the most talented candidates an extensive package of services including:
- strong technological support to accelerate the development, prototyping and testing of new applications;
- business support to develop solutions with a robust product/market fit, and chart the path to market growth and investment.
The call is open to small consortia of 2-3 partners, from Horizon 2020 eligible countries. The call will fund advanced technology testing activities, as well as expert mentoring and coaching.
