RomeCup 2018 – Robotics excellence in Rome

On 16 and 17 April 2018, Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, in collaboration with Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will host RomeCup 2018 - l'eccellenza della Robotica a Roma: a multi-event including competitions, conferences, workshops and exhibition areas to disseminate innovation through schools, research centres, universities, companies and institutions.
The 11th edition of the RomeCup will open with the international conference “Il futuro della biorobotica: imitare la natura per il progresso della scienza e della tecnologia dell’automazione al servizio della persona”, which will feature Eugenio Guglielmelli, Pro-Rector of the Campus Bio-Medico University, Mariachiara Carrozza, Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, Oussama Khatib, from Stanford University, Robert Riener, from ETH of Zurich and Nitish V. Thakor, from the National University of Singapore and Johns Hopkins University.
Then the DigiLIFE Streategy Workout will take place, a session of collective visual construction on digital ecosystem and life sciences, promoted by Lazio Innova, as well as workshops for schools and competitions in robotics.
During the two-day event, the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome will host a number of interactive talks, orientation workshops and demonstration areas for visitors.
