Market consultation: new technologies for autism
On 21 March 2017, from 10.00 to 17.00, the headquarters of the Agency for Digital Italy in Rome – AgID, will host a new session of market consultation entitled “New technologies for autism”, concerning tender for the development of innovative therapeutic solutions based on technologies of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) for subjects with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
This tender is the third pre-commercial procurement for innovative solutions in the Public Administration (PA), included in the national programme managed by the Ministry of Education, University and Research - MIUR in collaboration with the Agency for Digital Italy - AgID.
This is an innovative and little explored topic. Therefore, MIUR and AgID are involving operators in the field of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, as well as operators with skills in the cure of neuropsychiatric diseases in children and young people.
The estimated value of the tender is approximately 3.8 million euro (without TVA), the activity duration will be 30 months.
