Two days of conferences, seminars and show cases dedicated to remotely piloted aircraft systems: on May 16 and 17, Capannori (near Lucca) will host Dronexpo Toscana, the first event aimed at presenting to insiders and passionate people the potential of this new tool. The event is organized by Zefiro Innovazione and Airport of Capannori.

The Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) can have applications in several fields of civil industry: agriculture, rescue, public security and civil protection. Dronexpo aims at showing the potential use of these systems in several settings as well as creating new fields of application through discussion.

During the event, it will be possible to attend Make a Drone: a workshop that shows how to build a Ladybird, an open-source multi rotor; on Friday the Idintos Project will be presented, the first two-seat seaplane built in Tuscany; moreover, historical vehicle lovers will have the opportunity to visit the exhibit “History of Drones”.

Attendance to the event is free of charge.
